On the Electromagnetic Vacuum Origins of Dark Energy, Dark Matter, and Astrophysical Jets

چکیده
We use a semiclassical version of the Nexus paradigm quantum gravity in which vacuum at large scales is dominated by second quantized electromagnetic field to demonstrate that virtual photon can affect geometric evolution Einstein manifolds or Ricci solitons. This phenomenon offers cogent explanation origins astrophysical jets, cosmological constant, and means detecting galactic dark matter.

Dark Matter and Dark Energy
I briefly review our current understanding of dark matter and dark energy. The first part of this paper focusses on issues pertaining to dark matter including observational evidence for its existence, current constraints and the ‘abundance of substructure’ and ‘cuspy core’ issues which arise in CDM. I also briefly describe MOND. The second part of this review focusses on dark energy. In this pa...
متن کاملThe dark side of cosmology: dark matter and dark energy.
A simple model with only six parameters (the age of the universe, the density of atoms, the density of matter, the amplitude of the initial fluctuations, the scale dependence of this amplitude, and the epoch of first star formation) fits all of our cosmological data . Although simple, this standard model is strange. The model implies that most of the matter in our Galaxy is in the form of "dark...

In (T. Ma and S. Wang. Gravitational field equations and theory of dark matter and dark energy, Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems, Ser. A, 34(2): 335–366, 2014; arXiv:1206.5078v2), a new set of gravitational field equations are derived based only on 1) the Einstein principle of general relativity, and 2) the principle of interaction dynamics, due to the the presence of dark energy and d...
متن کاملUnification of Dark Energy and Dark Matter
We propose a scenario in which dark energy and dark matter are described in a unified manner. The ultralight pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone (pNG) boson, A, naturally explains the observed magnitude of dark energy, while the bosonic supersymmetry partner of the pNG boson, B, can be a dominant component of dark matter. The decay of B into a pair of electron and positron may explain the 511 keV γ ray from...
متن کاملPossible astrophysical clues of dark matter
The supernova physics may provide a clue of the cosmological dark matter. In the absence of new physics, the supernova calculations do not explain the observed velocities of pulsars. However, if there exists a singlet fermion with mass in the 1–20 keV range and a small mixing with neutrinos, this particle could be emitted asymmetrically from a cooling neutron star in the event of a supernova ex...
